Summer Reading 2015

Welcome to the Webster Groves Public Library's Summer Reading Programs for 2015! Like last year, the Library will be conducting its Summer Reading sign-ups online. This will allow our participants to sign up and track their progress from the comfort of their own home computers. To get started, click the banner below for the program you wish to take part in and follow the instructions at the site.

Important note about family registrations : It is possible to register multiple children and teens under a single card number. This is designed to make logging a family's progress easier without having to remember everyone's individual card numbers. If you are a parent who wishes to do this and you plan to participate in the adult Summer Reading Program, you must register yourself for that program first. Then, while logged in, use the "Add Member" button to add your children. If you use your own card number to register a child first, you will not be able to use that number to register yourself. Also note that all participants in the adult Summer Reading Program must register individually.

Summer Reading for Adults - Every Hero Has a Story

The adult program is for library card holders from age 18 and up. To be eligible for prizes, participants must read and log at least five books or audiobooks by August 1, 2015. Adults who finish will receive participation prizes and be entered into a drawing for larger prizes, including a Kindle Fire. Participants may also enter the "Every Hero Has a Story" contest by reading a book about one of their heroes and then submitting a short paragraph describing the book and their hero. "Every Hero Has a Story" contest participants will be entered into a separate drawing for a Kindle Fire.

If you have any questions, please contact the Library at 314.961.3784 or dladd@wgpl.org.
