Art at the Webster Groves Public Library

Cherry for websiteThe Webster Groves Public Library is privileged to have many beautiful works of art on display. This artwork is especially significant to our city because many of the artists, at least for a time, made Webster Groves their home. Several of the artists were teachers at St. Louis area schools; others painted simply to express their love of nature or art itself. All of the paintings were donated, most of them by the artists themselves or a member of the artist’s family.

The library is grateful to the Friends of the Webster Groves Public Library for providing the funds to maintain and clean the paintings. Click here for information about the Friends.
