Lindy Drew, co-founder and lead storyteller of the non-profit Humans of St. Louis will present the group’s work in documenting the lives of St. Louisans through stories, photography and video. Learn about the creation of their 2022 self-published book, Humans of St. Louis: The people of St. Louis, one photo and story at a time, their continuing efforts to tell the stories of our region through social media and local events, and the methods they use to get ordinary people to share an intimate look into their struggles and successes. The first 10 attendees will receive a free signed copy of their book. Volumes will also be available for sale.

Read to a therapy dogs in training from Dogs for our Brave organization.  This program is recommended for ages 5 and up. 
 
 Dogs for our Brave’s mission is to provide professionally trained service dogs at no cost to veterans who have suffered debilitating injury or illness while in service to our country.

Craft time with Miss Kim for ages 3+

Have fun creating some autumn crafts, including a pumpkin gnome, a crocheted pumpkin, fall-themed greeting cards, a leaf and pine cone wreath, and autumn bead bracelets. For ages 14 and up and while supplies last.

The Evening Book Club will discuss The Sheltering Sky by Paul Bowles.
 
The discussion will be led by Sam Harned, a retired history teacher and avid reader.
