Income Tax Resources

It’s Income Tax time again, and we have the following resources to help out:

Tax Forms

We will be receiving Federal 1040 and 1040-SR tax forms in January, which will be available at the Circulation and Reference Desks. You can also go to the IRS website to find the forms you need.

Missouri no longer sends out hard copy tax forms to libraries. You can find the forms you need on the Department of Revenue website.

The Reference Desk downstairs will print tax forms for you at no charge. We have the most commonly used Federal and Missouri forms to quickly print. Staff can also help you search for less common ones.

Free Tax Preparation Services

Several local organizations help prepare tax returns for lower income households and senior citizens. Here are links to some. Please note that in early January some sites still have “More Information to Come” notices, so you may need to check back with them.
