Read to a therapy dog in training from Dogs for our Brave organization.  This program is recommended for ages 5 and up. 
 
 Dogs for our Brave’s mission is to provide professionally trained service dogs at no cost to veterans who have suffered debilitating injury or illness while in service to our country.

LIMIT of 20 Participants , preregistration is required by calling 314-961-7262. For ages K-5th.  Children discover how the four forces of flight help things soar into the sky. They build all kinds of paper aircraft to help them understand in a tangible, hands-on way! Major Concepts: lift, gravity, thrust, drag, different types of flight, high and low pressure, flight

Story & Activity Time, recommended for ages 2 and up. This event will be held in the story time area of our children’s department.

Spend an hour or two on your latest yarn creation while chatting with old friends or making new ones. For ages 15 and older.

The Sci-Fi/Fantasy Book Club will discuss The Goblin Emperor by Katherine Addison. While they last, copies will be available at the circulation desk.
